Let’s Fill Up The House This Thursday Night! One of the goals of the Takedown Club is to help increase attendance at our wrestling dual meets and the Tomas Garces Tournament. This Thursday, December 18th, at 7:00 p.m. we will entertain the PSJA Memorial Wolverines in a dual meet at the Lackey Gym on the WHS Campus. We have asked the wrestlers to invite their friends, we are asking parents to invite family members and friends, promotion posters have been sent to the two feeder middle schools (Central Middle School and B. Garza Middle School) as well as the Winter Texan Trailer Parks in the Mid-Valley. (There are some high schools in Iowa that attract three to four thousand fans to their meets!) We know that once they attend, they will get hooked by our sport and keep coming back to support our kids.
Wrestling Program Ads Due: Wednesday at Noon Please turn-in all information for program ads by Wednesday, December 17th at noon. The money can be turned-in by Thursday, December 18th or as received. A big “Thank you” to the parents who have obtained ads to support our wrestlers.
