Saturday, December 5, 2009, San Benito, Texas: It was a very “ l o n g “ day for our wrestlers as the tournament began nearly two hours late for the boys, three hours late for the girls, all due to a computer glitch that required the weight brackets be redone. Matches were rescheduled among the four mats and two gyms at a non-stop pace; and with teams already at a 14 to 16 hour day the 3rd place matches were scratched and a coin was flipped for medals at 8:00 p.m. A final bracket listing was not posted; the matches listed are what The Takedown was able to get from early print-outs or verbal sources. The Panther Wrestling faithful showed-up in-force and supported our teams. It was a pleasure meeting the families of our first year wrestlers and providing them information on our wrestling program and wrestling in general. (If a score needs correction, feel free to contact The Takedown and we will do so. Thanks!

For those of you who did not receive the notice, or who are alumni or fans of Panther Wrestling and had no way of knowing about the change, etc. and thus either arrived late at San Benito High School or were unable to make arrangements to attend, please feel free to call to verify dates and times.
